To provide a paper processing device capable of easily removing jammed paper.
The paper processing device for cutting paper while conveying the paper is provided with a conveying means for conveying the paper one by one; a cutting means for cutting the paper in a conveying direction; a drive means for driving the conveying means and the cutting means; a movement means for moving the cutting means in a direction perpendicular to the conveying direction; and a movement control means for controlling the movement means so as to move the cutting means to a cutting position. A shaft penetrated through upper portions of the two cutting means 11, 12 than the conveying route, i.e., upper bodies 111, 121 is the only one first slide shaft 31 or does not exist.
