Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper quality inspection method of sanitary tissue paper, and to provide a manufacturing method of the sanitary tissue paper in which the paper quality inspection method is incorporated in a final stage of the manufacture.SOLUTION: First of all, a test panel 10 provided with two or more streaks of protrusions 12 extended parallel to each other is prepared on a surface of a flat substrate 11. Also, inspection paper 21 formed by making a sanitary tissue paper 20 contain water to be inspected is prepared. After that, the inspection paper 21 is pressed against the test panel 10, and moved in a direction perpendicular to the two or more streaks of protrusions 12. Then, a moving distance of the inspection paper 21 is measured at the point of time when confirmed that fiber bundles 22 leave from the inspection paper 21 and remain on the test panel 10. Accordingly, if the distance when the fiber bundles 22 begin to leave from the inspection paper 21 is less than a reference distance, a determination is made as "paper quality is poor", and if the distance is a reference distance or more, the determination is made that "paper quality is good".
