To prevent recording sheet and a bottom plate of an intermediate tray from being stuck on each other even if the recording sheet in the intermediate tray is electrostatically charged by floating the recording sheet in the intermediate tray from a top face of the bottom plate of the intermediate tray.
When the number of sheets which are being recorded in an intermediate tray 11 decreases a predetermined number of sheets or below, a control part gives an instruction for operation to a solenoid 14a, and the solenoid 14a operates according to the instruction. A plate 14c floats the predetermined number of sheets or less which are being recorded from a bottom plate 11a of the intermediate tray 11. A sheet take-out mechanism 13 takes out the sheet being recorded which are raised by the plate 14c partially from the intermediate tray 11. These procedures are repeated until the sheet being recorded in the intermediate tray 11 disappears. Consequently, the sheet being recorded in the intermediate tray 11 is not stuck to the bottom plate 11a thereof even if the sheet is electrostalically charged.
