In the paper roll coloring method, when winding around at least one wide tissue and continuously manufacturing a long-length paper roll, coloring is performed before a paper material is dried to become paper. The coloring is performed between a paper material formation part and a paper material drying part. In the process of performing dehydration and drying from the paper material, a long line is formed. In this invention, the long line is utilized and the coloring is executed to the paper material in the long line.
