Abstract:
To provide a paper sheet binding device capable of changing a stamping position on a tape.
The paper sheet binding device includes a binding part 12 winding the tape T around stacked paper sheets S and cutting and bonding the tape T; a lead-in part 11 leading the tape T into the binding part 12; a stamping part 28 provided in a lead-in path 14 of the tape T by the lead-in part 11 to perform stamping treatment to the tape T before led into the binding part 12; and a detecting means 71 capable of detecting the leading end of the tape T. The stamping part 28 performs stamping treatment to the tape T based on a position where the leading end is detected by the detecting means 71.
