Abstract:
To solve the problem in which, in the case where a tape of a paper sheet binding device is set, a setting error occurs in terms of the front and rear surfaces of the tape.SOLUTION: A paper sheet binding device includes: a supply part for supplying a tape; a folding guide part for fold-guiding a tape supplied from the supply part along a folding axis; an introduction part for introducing the tape folding-guided by the folding guide part along an introduction axis extending in the direction crossing the direction in which the folding axis extends; a binding part for performing binding processing by winding the tape introduced by the introduction part around paper sheets; and a direction detection part for detecting state quantity according to the twisting direction of the tape between the folding guide part and the introduction part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
