Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for non-contact braking a paper sheet supported by an air current on a braking process.
SOLUTION: By a blowoff nozzle bar 6 having plural blowoff nozzles disposed on the upper surface thereof, which is extended over the width of a paper sheet, blowoff air directed to the opposite direction of the transport direction of a paper sheet 4 is blown below the paper sheet released by a paper sheet clamping click 1 of a clamping click device 3. The quantity and pressure of the blowoff air are adjusted to be balanced with kinetic energy lost from the coming paper sheet, so that in an area of the braking process, the paper sheet 4 is non-contact supported by the air current.
