To provide a paper sheet bundle packaging apparatus in which paper sheet bundles of 100 sheets which are conveyed in the same direction under a standing condition by making the side end face as the bottom part are accumulated by classifying them on every positive and negative ones regardless of the thickness, and on every time when reaching ten bundles, two positions in the same direction are banded by using a banding belt.

In the paper sheet bundle packaging apparatus 1, the paper sheet bundles H of 100 sheets conveyed are received under the standing condition, the paper sheet bundles are classified on every categories (positive and negative) A and B and are conveyed under the standing condition. The paper sheet bundles H of 100 sheets conveyed in the same direction are conveyed as paper sheet bundles of 1,000 sheets by gathering ten bundles under the standing condition as it is, and two positions in the same direction are banded by using the banding belt. The present invention is characterized in that even when the thicknesses of the positive bond paper sheet bundle and the negative bond paper sheet bundle are changed about two times, packaging can be performed.
