Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pull a paper sheet in the opposite direction to the conveying direction and then take out it without applying excessive force to component members when the paper sheet is stopped in a conveying passage caused by a jam or a stop of paper feeding.
SOLUTION: When a document is strongly pulled out in the direction opposite to the conveying direction without releasing paper feeding pressure, even if a conveying roller 3 is reversely rotated by frictional resistance to the document and excessive driving force is applied from a transmission means 35 to a drive shaft 8, the driving force is not transmitted to a feed roller 5 by the limiter action by the idling and sliding action of a torque limiter 45. Therefore, since excessive load is not applied to the document, a spring clutch 40 and a bracket 10, damage can be prevented from being generated.
