Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a folded part from being inflated.
SOLUTION: This paper sheet cutting device comprises a sheet running route on which a continuous sheet 1 is run at a constant running speed, a cut line forming means which form cut lines with at least one small joint on the continuous sheet in a distance in the folding longitudinal direction of the continuous sheet, and a swing shooter 3 which is positioned on the downstream of the sheet running direction of the cut line forming means, provided, on its lower end part, with a support roller 4 and a nozzle roller 5 which is rotated drivingly at a peripheral speed faster than the running speed of the sheet and can be moved closely or separated from the support roller, and swings the continuous sheet passed between these both rollers in lateral direction. By the oscillation of the swing shooter, the continuous sheet is folded zigzag at the cut lines and, when the cut lines formed by the cut line forming means come to a position immediately before the upstream of both rollers of the swing shooter, the nozzle roller is operated pressingly against the support roller so as to cut the continuous paper sheet at the cut lines.
