PURPOSE: To prevent the draw-out miss of a paper sheet by a side-plate reciprocating means in which one side plate is made movable with respect to the other side plate, the one side plate is reciprocated within the range of a set length and the side end of a plurality of papers on a mounting plate is pressed.

CONSTITUTION: When a control device receives a paper sheet draw-out command after a plurality of paper sheets P is set on a mounting plate 12, a driving motor 22 is driven and controlled so that a side plate 11L is returned to a basic position P1 after it is moved by a set distance L1 outwardly from the basic position P1. The reciprocation of a side plate 11L is repeated by the predetermined number, thereby pressing the side end of a paper sheet P on the mounting plate 12 to properly set the paper sheets. Therefore, the friction generated between the side end of the paper sheets and the side plates 11L, 11R is eliminated. The paper sheets P are pressed to a draw-out roller 15 by a sufficient and uniform pressure, and the draw-out roller 15 is rotated, thereby being able to smoothly and surely draw out the paper sheets one by one in order from the lower part.
