Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet processor that enables collective insertion of accumulated bills, and enables automatic recovery even in the case where a failure occurs in feeding of bills.SOLUTION: A paper sheet processor 1 includes a feed roller 10 that feeds bills among accumulated bills stored within a storage space 9a of a bill insertion section 9 toward a feed port, a separating and conveying section 32 that separates and conveys the bills fed to the feed port one by one, a feed roller moving section 28 which is a position changing section that can be changed between a first position where the feed roller 10 can touch the bills within the storage space 9a and a second position where the feed roller 10 is spaced from the bills, a paper sheet detection sensor 17, and a control section 27. When bills conveyed by the separating and conveying section 32 are not detected by the paper sheet detection sensor 17, the control section 27 controls the feed roller moving section 28 such that the feed roller 10 in a rotating state reciprocates between the first position and the second position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
