To provide a paper sheet processing system for substantially reducing confirmation work when it is needed to confirm whether or not there is shortage or overage of inspected paper sheet bundles or the like, and substantially reducing dividing work of the paper sheet bundles of normal bills and the paper sheet bundles of damaged bills that are mixed after processing.
The paper sheet processing system according to an embodiment comprises: fetch means for fetching paper sheets set to a supply part sheet by sheet; inspection means for inspecting the paper sheets fetched by the fetch means; accumulation means for dividing and accumulating the paper sheets by each kind on the basis of an inspection result by the inspection means; sealing means for preparing paper sheet bunches by sealing the paper sheets accumulated by the accumulation means by the prescribed number of sheets each; binding means for preparing paper sheet bundles by binding the paper sheet bunches prepared by the sealing means with a band by the prescribed number each; and binding system change means for changing a binding system of a band for binding the paper sheet bunches by the prescribed number each in the binding means by a condition set beforehand.
