Abstract:
PURPOSE: To process paper sheets with high accuracy by accurately conveying the paper sheets at a specific conveyance speed.
CONSTITUTION: A conveying device which conveys a security P along a specific conveyance path is provided with conveyor belts 30 and 31 which convey the security P, a driving motor which drives the conveyor belts 30 and 31, and a control part which adjusts the rotating speed of the driving motor. The control part varies the rotating speed of the driving motor so that the length of the security detected by a decision part 18 is equal to the previously set actual length of a security, thereby adjusting the traveling speeds of the conveyor belts 30 and 31.
