Abstract:

To provide a means for improving the operating efficiency of a paper sheet rearrangement device in the accumulating operation of paper money.

This paper sheet rearrangement device is provided with: a denomination recognizing part 7 of paper money P delivered one by one from a paper money P input port 5; a plurality of temporary accumulating part 15 for integrating the paper money P for every denomination; a bundling part 40 for bundling and ejecting the predetermined number of paper money P with paper bands; a holding part 31 for holding the paper money P of the temporary accumulating part 15; and a transfer part 34 for transferring the predetermined number of held paper money P from the temporary accumulating parts 15a to 15d to the bundling part 40. The temporary accumulating part is provided with a stage 17 for setting the paper money P accumulation region and a standby region for putting the predetermined number of paper money P accumulated in the accumulation area in a standby status; a support bar for aligning the top ends of the paper money P accumulated in the accumulation area; and a movable protrusion 25 projected from the stage 17 for moving the accumulation region to the ejecting direction of the paper money P. When the predetermined number of paper money P is accumulated in the accumulation area, the predetermined number of paper money P accumulated in the accumulation region is moved to the standby region by the movable protrusion 25.
