The stacking trays 5a, 5b are placed side by side such that the stacking trays 5a, 5b are adjacent to each other, paper sheets 7a, 7b are placed on the stacking trays 5a, 5b, and the stacking trays 5a, 5b are displaced upward by consumption thereof. Slide terminal parts 17a, 17b are projected to the other stacking tray 5a, 5b directions from the adjacent stacking trays 5a, 5b, and are slidingly displaced according to the stacking trays 5a, 5b. A position detection part 19 has electrode patterns DIG0-GND on which the slide terminal parts 17a, 17b slidably abut, on respective counter faces of an insulation board 21 disposed in a displacement range of the slide terminal parts 17a, 17b between the stacking trays 5a, 5b. The position detection part 19 obtains position detection signals corresponding to abutment positions of the slide terminal parts 17a, 17b from the electrode patterns DIG0-GND.
