Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily rearrange the sequence of paper sheets by providing a conveying means sorting and conveying the separated paper sheets to other sort shelves in a paper sheet sorter implementing the sequence rearranging operation of multiple paper sheets multiple times and sorting the paper sheets in the desired sequence.
SOLUTION: This paper sheet sorter is provided with the first feeding/ accumulating means 1-1" having multiple accumulation sections holding the paper sheets 2 sorted and accumulated for individual accumulation sections in the erect attitude and a shifting means moving the accumulated paper sheets 2. Only one paper sheet located at the right end of the paper sheets 2 mounted on each of the feeding/accumulating means 1-1" is separated by separating means 4-4" and conveyed downward, and the sort information is read by a reading means 9 while the paper sheets 2 are conveyed by a conveying means 7. The paper sheets 2 are sorted and inserted into one of accumulation sections of the feeding/accumulating means 1-1" set to the accumulation mode by sorting means 13-13" in response to the readout result.
