A stopper 12 is made rotatable around a shaft 21 so that paper sheets 10a of smaller size can be heaped after paper sheets 10b of larger size are heaped, a mechanism is constituted that the stopper 12 does not crush the paper sheets 10b and, at the same time, the paper sheets 10b are heaped in a storage part 11 in a state in which the rear edges are made even. Also, in storing paper money of different denomination in a storage cylinder of a cash automatic transaction machine, the paper moneys are prevented from erroneously entering the rest of the remaining space of the cylinder so that one of angles on a bottom surface of the storage surface fixedly occupies an angle of the storage cylinder.
