To provide a paper sheet wrapping apparatus for automatically put a wrapper around paper sheets which neither requires a tool such as scissors nor causes problems such as defective wrappers or jamming even if a tip is not removed when mounting a new wrapper tape 2.

A fold back length is adjusted before the wrapper tape is put around paper sheets so that a pasting position for fixing the tape 2 to avoid loosening and a position corresponding to the pasting position after one round of the wrapper tape 2 are prevented from falling within the area between the fold back position and the cut position of the tape 2 and/or in the vicinity of the wrapper tape cut position.
