PURPOSE: To stabilize frictional force required for paper delivery by keeping constant pressing force for pressing down a group of paper sheets aligned and housed onto a delivery means regardless of the amount of housed paper sheets, in a paper sheets delivery device.
CONSTITUTION: Placing a group of paper sheets P on a paper delivery means 1 causes a rear delivery roller 6 to be pushed. Thereby, a rocking arm 9 is caused to be rocked clockwise against energyzation of a spring 21, and to strike a stopper 20. Thus, the rocking arm is brought in its stationary state. Thereafter, with strating of the delivery means 1, a front part delivery roller 5 is rotated in the direction of an arrow to cause a rear part delivery roller 6 to be rotated at the same speed as said front part delivery roller. With rotation of these delivery rollers 5, 6, the lowest sheet out of the paper sheets P is slipped out due to its friction with the rear part delivery roller 6, and delivered out from a gate 25. With advance of the delivery of the paper sheets P, the rocking arm 9 is rotated in the gradually rising direction thereof. When a detecting part 22 is out of a sensor 23, a motor M2 is started to cause a pressing body 2 to be lowered. Thus, pressing force toward the paper sheets P is made constant.
