CONSTITUTION: When bills are to be disbursed from an automatic cash transaction device, the hand section 13 of a transport mechanism section 5 is lowered in an arrow E direction from the bill intake section 10 of a counting section 2 and faces the bill inlet/outlet of a safe 3. Next, the hand section 13 proceeds in an arrow F direction and grasps multiple stacked bills 7 somewhat excessively, then it is withdrawn and is lifted in the opposite direction to the arrow E. Next, it is temporarily stopped facing the bill intake section 10 of the counting section 2 and mounts bills 7 on a mount bed. Thereby, counting of bills 7 is started, bills to be disbursed are conveyed to a stack 11, and the remaining bills 7 are conveyed to a stack 12. Then, the hand section 13 grasps the bills 7 on the stack 11 and is rotated by 180°, and it conveys the bills 7 to the inlet/outlet section 1 and discharges them.
