PURPOSE: To facilitate the grasp of states and the management of the entire processing unit and to save the man-hours by allowing a central control means to collect and process information relating to inspection by plural inspection machines.
CONSTITUTION: The processing unit is provided with plural inspection machines 5 inspecting paper sheets and a central control console 1 being a central control means sending/receiving information relating to the inspection among the inspection machines 5 to process information relating to the inspection. That is, each inspection machine 5 inspects paper sheets respectively and obtains information required for the operation under the control of the central control means 1. Information relating to the inspection of each inspection machine 5 is fed to the central control means 1 processes the information relating to the inspection from each inspection machine 5. Thus, the entire unit is grasped and the information is processed easily and the man-hours can be saved.
