To provide a paper stand that is adapted to form a substantially triangular prism shape by itself while expanding at the moment the stand is taken out of a gift bag or an envelope.
A piece of paperboard comprises: a front face board 2 having a grain direction in the vertical direction, and comprising a window piece part 21 in which a window for displaying a display object is formed by cutting out the board and a frame piece part 22 surrounding the window piece part 21; a bottom face board 3 provided with a tongue piece 31 at a lower hem side and continuously arranged at the lower hem side of the front face board 2; a back face board 4 including an anchoring hole 41 that anchors the tongue piece 31 formed substantially in the center, and continuously arranged at the upper hem side of the front face board 2; and four folding flap pieces 5 continuously arranged at both right and left sides of the front face board 2 and the back face board 4. The piece of paperboard is folded to form a substantially triangular prism shape by itself as a whole, due to the elasticity generated by the folding of the folding flap pieces 5 at a boundary e between the front face board 2 and the back face board 4, the elasticity generated by the folding of a portion c, and the elasticity generated by the folding at a boundary d between the bottom face board 3 and the front face board 2.
