Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the space for storing the printing paper printed by an ink jet printer and prevent the printing paper being discharged from rubbing and fouling the image-formed face of the stored printing paper.
SOLUTION: An auxiliary stacker 72 can be slid to the storage position and the extraction position below the base frame 73 of an ink jet printer, and it is supported rockably in the suspending direction at the extraction position. The printing paper image-formed by a recording head 5l is discharged at the angle of about 45° downward and stored in the auxiliary stacker 72 kept in the suspension state. The auxiliary stacker 72 can be used at the extraction position or at the horizontal position.
