Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a modulated test signal where the fading having the optional amplitude and phase characteristics is added with high signal accuracy by applying a fading adding operation to the base band signal that is not inputted yet to an orthogonal modulator which is contained in a modulated signal generator.
SOLUTION: A fading editing means 28 writes the fading elements into a fading element memory 31 at an optional time of output time series of a base band signal. A timing control means 32 receives the time information that is outputted from a base band signal generation part 21 together with the base band signal and successively reads the fading elements out of the memory 31. An arithmetic part 22 applies a fading adding operation to the base band signal received from the part 21 by means of those fading elements. Then the base band signals undergoes the D/A conversion via the D/A converters 26a and 26b and then the orthogonal modulation via an orthogonal modulator 27 and is outputted as a modulated test signal.
