A paper transfer device is provided with: a tractor moving device for moving a tractor between a tractor transfer position, where the continuous paper having feed holes is transferred by the tractor, and a tractor retreat position where the tractor is not engaged with the pinless continuous paper (P); a movable guide member (KG) movable between a paper guide position for guiding the pinless continuous paper (P) and a non-guiding position for not guiding the continuous paper (P); and a linking device (36) which couples the movable guide member (KG) to the tractor moving device so as to move the movable guide member (KG) from the non-guiding position to the paper guide position in conjunction with the movement of the tractor from the tractor transfer position to the tractor retreat position.
