Abstract:

To provide a paper tube cutting method for obtaining a favorable cut section.

According to this paper tube cutting method, a first cut h1 is made in the rotating paper tube 2 by a first circular cutting blade 41, a second cut h2 is made by a second circular cutting blade 42, the space between both ends of the first cut h1 and the second cut h2 is T, and a cutter 30 having a thickness T and rotated in the same direction as the rotating direction of the paper tube 2 and having an intermittent cutting edge on the outer periphery, is inserted between the first cut h1 and the second cut h2, thereby cutting the paper tube.
