PURPOSE: To provide a paper vessel which can keep its shape without a saucer or a net and which has good water proofing and water retaining properties and to provide the producing method of the vessel.
CONSTITUTION: This paper vessel 1 is made of multi-layered paper which has polypropylene film 8 between papers 7a and 7b. The outside part of a bottom 2 in the paper vessel 1 is stood at a bending part 5 as a side body. A step part 4 is made at the level of one third of the height of the paper vessel 1 form the bottom 2. When used, the vessel 1 is put on a heater 9 at the step part 4. Because the strength of paper vessel 1 is enhanced with polypropylene film 8, the shape of paper vessel 1 is kept without a saucer and so on. Also because the polypropylene film 8 does not pass water, water 11 in the paper vessel 1 does not come out from the paper vessel 1.
