Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve paper-surface characteristics in a papermaking woven fabric.SOLUTION: A papermaking woven fabric (10) is formed by weaving papermaking surface side weft yarns (11), running surface side weft yarns (12), and warp yarns (13). In a weave repeat, each warp yarn has a plain weave part (14) consecutively including at least three plain weave structures. The plain weave part of any warp yarn borders on the plain weave part of any one of the next warp yarn, the next warp yarn but one, and the next warp yarn but two while being shifted in a weft direction so that plain weaves continue while being shifted stepwise in the weft direction. Every papermaking surface side weft yarn constitutes the papermaking surface side weft yarn other than those at end parts in at least one plain weave part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
