Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suppress yawing of a parachute plane and to stabilize straight advance by providing a frame projecting rearward with respect to advancing direction and a vertical tail unit arranged closely to the tail with the surface thereof being arranged in parallel with the advancing direction. CONSTITUTION:In a parachute plane self advanceable in the air with an engine 4 being suspended from a parachute 1, a frame 8 is projected rearward with respect to the advancing direction and a vertical tail unit 9 is provided with the surface thereof being arranged approximately in parallel with the advancing direction. The frame 8 projecting rearward and the vertical tail unit 9 arranged closely to the tail provides weather vane effect for the air flow thus stabilizing yawing. Vertical tail unit 9 is particularly effective. By such arrangement, yawing of the parachute plane is suppressed and straight advance is stabilized. Consequently, a clear image can be obtained in aerial photography and guidance to a target position can be carried out easily and reliably.
