Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the function of a parachute releasing device over long period by releasing the parachute using the repulsion of compressed coil spring.
SOLUTION: A coil spring 10 is disposed in compressed state on the outer periphery of a case 7, and between the under surface periphery of a resistant plate 8 and an intermediate partition wall 2 of a falling body 1 side. The coil spring, at its extended condition, has at least a length to push out the resistant plate 8 from an area A with back flow occurred on the upper surface of the falling body 1. This parachute releasing device releases a connection between the falling body 1 and the resistant plate 8 when the falling body falls to a predetermined height. Then, the resistant plate 8 and a container bag 9 are slowly pushed out by the repulsion force of the coil spring 10 under compressed state, and when the resistant plate 8 passed out the back air flow area A on the upper surface of the falling body 1, the speed of the resistant plate 8 is reduced rapidly by air resistance. As a result, a parachute 5 is pulled out from the lower releasing portion of the container bag 9 equipped on the resistant plate 8, and opened.
