To correct deficiencies of a conventional technology about a parachute slider by providing an improved parachute slider suitable for the work at a high speed and at a high altitude.

The slider 1 for the parachute 5 is useful for gradually opening the round or wing-shaped expansible canopy of the parachute, and has a flat or bell-shaped sheet with one surface forming a recessed surface 2. The edge of the recessed surface 2 of the sheet supports an outer peripheral edge part 4 fixed to the sheet at a plurality of fixing points 3. The fixing points 3 are separate from each other with a distance between them sufficient for the outer peripheral edge part 4 to open an opening between the fixing points 3 with the air flow directed toward the recessed surface 2. With this structure mentioned above, the canopy of the parachute can be gradually opened.
