Title:
PARALLAX REDUCTION SPECTACLE FRAME FOR SHORT DISTANCE VIDEO, IMAGE APPRECIATION, READING, AND HIGH MAGNIFICATION BINOCULAR MAGNIFIER OBSERVATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011215190
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a spectacle type frame for achieving, under optimum conditions, the effect obtained by reducing binocular parallax by use of a reflecting mirror, that is, high image quality to be ensured through a magnifier while using both eyes, high ability to observe or appreciate an image regardless of the use of a magnifier, and, especially, the improved ability to read perspective information of the image.

The frame has such structure that the geometrical optical condition for obtaining the maximum visual field with respect to an assumed interpupillary distance, that is, the relational expression between the angle of a reflector, interpupillary distance, the width of each reflecting mirror, and the distance between the pupil and reflecting mirror, for obtaining the maximum visual field, is obtained, so that the condition satisfying the relational expression according to the interpupillary distance can be adjusted and also the lens can be mounted.
