Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with removal of flux residue, to increase performance life by suppressing falling of a corrugated fin due to corrosion, reducing usage of a coating material, dispensing with large-scaled equipment, and improving production efficiency.SOLUTION: A parallel flow type heat exchanger includes a plurality of aluminum flat tubes 2 disposed in parallel with each other between a pair of aluminum header pipes 1a, 1b, and a plurality of aluminum corrugated fins 3 disposed among the flat tubes. A plurality of louvers 4 are vertically disposed through longitudinal slits 3a, 3b formed substantially at equal intervals in a width direction of the corrugated fins, and the corrugated fins and the flat tubes are joined by brazing using flux. An anticorrosion coating material 7 is applied over a region RA including at least the first longitudinal slit 3a closest to an end portion, from the end portion positioned at a windward side of the corrugated fins.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
