Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform driving required by a driver even when the charged condition of a battery is low and when the input-output permissible power of the battery is limited, especially in the traveling mode in which an electric motor for traveling is used, in a vehicle provided with an internal combustion engine, the electric motor for traveling, an electric motor for generating power and the battery.
SOLUTION: An electric motor 9 generates electric power required for driving an electric motor 3 even when the charged condition of a battery is low and when the input-output permissible power of the battery is limited. The electric power required for driving the motor 3 is distributed from the total capacity of the power generated by the motor 9 and the output permissible power of the battery. Thus, the traveling with the motor 3 used as the source of driving is made possible even when the charged condition of a battery is low and when the input-output permissible power of the battery is limited.
