Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide parallelism of a blade tool quickly and precisely by solving such a problem that determination of the precise parallelism is difficult in the conventional technique because adjustment of the parallelism is performed dependent on feeling of the user although it is required that the blade tool is located in parallel to an edge of a base in order to perform cut process permitting clear finishing smoothly, in relation to a portable circular saw which includes a base brought into contact with processing material and a main body part supported by the base, therein, the main body part including the circular blade tool rotated by an electric motor.SOLUTION: A parallelism adjustment gage 40 is used in order to provide parallelism of a blade tool 21. The parallelism adjustment gage 40 includes a standard part 45 located in parallel to the blade tool 21 and first to fourth measurement parts 41 to 44 located along a material contacting surface 10a of the base 10. Respective measurement parts 41 to 44 have positioning parts 41a to 44a. Two positioning parts are positioned on an edge 11 of the base 10 and the parallelism of the blade tool 21 can be provided quickly and precisely.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
