Abstract:
PURPOSE:To select the storage area of a parameter in accordance with the type of equipment and to make the title system convenient by storing a parameter in either a RAM or a ROM. CONSTITUTION:The title system has a battery-backed-up RAM 20 to store the parameter, a ROM 30 to store the parameter, and a flag 31 to select whether to use the parameter stored in the RAM 20 or to use the parameter stored in the ROM 30. Since whether to store the parameter in the RAM 20 or to store it in the ROM 30 can be selected, for example, the RAM 20 is used for the type of equipment in which there are many changes and the parameter is stored in the ROM 30 for a programmable controller 10 of mass production goods. Thus, they can be selected in accordance with the purpose of a device and flexibility is improved.
