Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively teach the driving operation quantity for parking a vehicle in a desired parking section, to a vehicle driver.
SOLUTION: A vehicle rear image obtained by a rear monitor camera 10 is supplied to a parking ECU 16 and displayed on a display 18. The parking ECU 16 recognizes a parking section in the rear of a vehicle and computes a target steering angle required to enter the parking section. In the case of judging the vehicle to be at a stop by a detection signal from a sensor 14, the parking ECU 16 displays the target steering angle and the difference quantity between the target steering angle and an actual steering angle obtained by a steering sensor 12, on the display 18 and teaches the target steering angle to a vehicle driver. The teaching contents are outputted in voice through a speaker 20.
