Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the W safety at the time of parking by comprising a ratchet gear, installed in either side of both first and second turning members, and a ratchet 71 being installed in the other side and engaging with the ratchet gear.
CONSTITUTION: With an operating lever 30 pulled up, a first turning member 52 rotatably connected to this operating lever 30 at the one end is rotated, and a wire 56 supported on the other end is pulled up too. Since this wire 56 is connected to a braking device 60 via an equalizer 58 and a wire 59, pulling force of the operating lever 30 comes to operating force of the braking device 60. When this operating force is added to the braking device 60, reaction force reverse to the operating force is added to the wire 56 as a reaction, namely, it tries to pull the first turning member 52 back. The reaction force to be added to the first turning member 52 when the pulling force of the operating lever 30 is released, is transmitted to a second turning member 54 by means of engagement between a ratchet pawl 80 and a ratchet gear 82.
