The parking device for bicycles 10 comprises a holder 20 for holding a bicycle 12 placed in a stop position and a moving mechanism 50 for moving the bicycle 12 held by the holder 20 with the holder 20 from the stop position to a storage position. The holder 20 comprises a handle hook 22, on which a handle 12a of the bicycle 12 is to be hooked and suspended, and a rear wheel hook 24 for suspending a rear wheel 12a of the bicycle 12. The holder 20 can hold the bicycle 12 in the state of suspending the bicycle 12 with the handle hook 22 and the rear wheel hook 24. The handle hook 22 and the rear wheel hook 24 are formed into a J-shape and turnably fitted to a holding plate 26.
