Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lock mechanism capable of certainly locking a driving wheel while suppressing generation of unexpected vehicle behavior at parking in a vehicle having independent driving sources at the left and right driving wheels.
SOLUTION: In the parking lock mechanism 6 for the vehicle, independent driving mechanisms (for example, in-wheel motor 2) are arranged on a pair of left and right driving wheels respectively. Between the driving mechanism 2 and a brake rotor 4 of the driving wheel, a clutch mechanism 5 capable of switching the engagement state of both is arranged. An engagement member 61 driven by an actuator 62 and a gear 60 arranged on an output shaft 20 of the in-wheel motor 2 and engaged with the engagement member 61 at parking locking are arranged between the in-wheel motor 2 and the clutch mechanism 5.
