PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lot information provision system capable of sufficiently providing useful information on a temporary parking lot for users of vehicles.SOLUTION: An event information holding section 21 in a server 2 acquires event information. A temporary parking lot information detection section 24 in the server 2 acquires a position where an event is held from the event information and detects a temporary parking lot according to the number of vehicles parking around the position where an event is held. Popularity ranking information of temporary parking lots is also created based on parking time of a vehicle which parks last in a temporary parking lot. Information on how easy it is to go home is determined according to the difference between the time normally required from a temporary parking lot to home and the actual time required to go home. The popularity ranking information and the information on how easy it is to go home is sent to an on-vehicle device 1 to provide users including occupants with the information.
