In this parking lot reservation system, a server 200 acquires and stores a vacancy situation of each the parking lot whenever necessary. A composite machine 100 retrieves parking lot information according with conditions inputted by the user, and requests confirmation of the vacancy situation of the parking lot to the server 200. In response to a reply from the server 200, the composite machine 100 exhibits the information about the reservable parking lot according with the conditions inputted by the user to the user. In response to the input of the user, the composite machine 100 transmits reservation request of the parking lot to the server 200. The server 200 updates a database according to the reservation request from the composite machine 100, and transmits prescribed identification information to the composite machine 100 and a parking lot terminal 300. The composite machine 100 issues a parking ticket used in the parking lot by use of the identification information transmitted from the server 200.
