To make it possible to confirm the parking position of a driver's own vehicle from a separated position by transmitting a specific radio wave allocated to the vehicle from a portable transmitter, allowing an on-vehicle receiver to receive the radio wave and inform the driver of the position of the vehicle.
When a switch is depressed, a transmitting signal generating part 11 in a portable transmitter 1 generates a transmitting signal obtained by FM-modulating a signal with specific frequency allocated to the its own vehicle by a carrier and a transmitting part 12 amplifies the transmitting signal and transmits the amplified signal from an antenna. A receiver 21 in an on- vehicle unit removes noise from a received signal received by a receiving part 211 through a band filter 212, extracts a signal with specific frequency allocated to its own vehicle, a driving circuit 22 drives a lamp lighting circuit 23 for informing the driver of the position of the vehicle by the lighting of a lamp based upon the received signal from the receiver 21. Even when a driver can not discriminate the parking position of his (or her) own vehicle parked in a large parking area in a state separated from the vehicle at night or the like, the parking position of the vehicle can be confirmed from a separated place.
