PURPOSE: To promote the effective utilization of a site by installing a plurality of parking rack units free of lifting motion independently by means of a lifting means being controllable with a delivery controller, and using a first floor part of the unit at the forefront line as a car delivery port.
CONSTITUTION: When a car is garaged, the car is admitted in a delivery port 17 and then information of parking is inputted in memory or a parking number belonging to an undercarriage 9 is specified. Next, a specified lifting means 4 and a conveyor means 5 are driven by a delivery controller, and each of parking rack units 2a-2d goes up to the required height while the undercarriage 9 is conveyed, whereby the car is stored in the specified parking number. In succession, the unit 2a at the forefront line comes to a stop in height where the delivery port 17 accords with height of either of empty parking numbers, and it receives the empty undercarriage 9 and goes down to the lowermost stage, thus it is on standby at the position.
