Abstract:
To provide a parking support device and a parking support method capable of bringing the behavior of a vehicle into a state suitable for travelling by automatic drive when the vehicle automatically travels along a travel route based on a teaching travel.SOLUTION: A parking support device performs an automatic travel of a vehicle on the basis of a teaching travel by a driver. The parking support device includes a learning part and a change part. The leaning part learns a travel route for parking the vehicle at a parking position, a speed, a steering angle and a braking operation of the vehicle during the teaching travel on the basis of the teaching travel by the driver. The change part changes a speed, a steering angle or a braking operation during the automatic travel of the vehicle from the speed, the steering angle or the braking operation during the teaching travel, on the basis of some of regulations related to the automatic travel of the vehicle, environmental information on environment around the vehicle, or geographical information on a road condition around the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
