To provide a parking support device where a driver can always visualize the image of the rear part of a vehicle when parking by displaying the image of the rear part of the vehicle irrespective of the advancing direction of the vehicle, and can easily and safely park the vehicle without feeling anxiety in a parking lot.
The parking support device has a state acquisition device acquiring the state of the vehicle, an image pickup device photographing the rear part of the vehicle, and a display device 14 displaying the image of the rear part of the vehicle photographed by the image pickup device. When the parking support device determined that the vehicle enters the parking lot based on the state of the vehicle acquired by the state acquisition device, the parking support device displays the image of the rear part of the vehicle on the display device 14.
