Abstract:
To provide a parking assisting device which can change torque in a mode suitable for an road environment.
The parking support device 10A supporting parking travel of a vehicle comprises: an uphill determination means determining whether or not there is an uphill with respect to a forward direction of the vehicle on a parking travel path of the vehicle; and a torque increase means increasing the torque compared with drive torque when the uphill determination means determines absence of an uphill, wherein the drive torque of the vehicle during parking travel is torque when the uphill determination means determines the presence of an uphill.
