Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide more reliable waiting time information concerning respective individual parking lots.
SOLUTION: A ticket issuing adjusting device 1 of each parking lot detects characteristic information in parking lot (the number of entering and leaving vehicles, etc.) showing the vehicle congestion state in the parking lot, and a picture processor 4 of each parking lot detects entering characteristic information (the number of waiting vehicles, etc.) expressing the congestion of a waiting line 3 outside of the lot from the video of television 9. The data base of a central processor 5 registers first history information expressing the hourly change of characteristic information in parking lot, second history information expressing the hourly change of entering characteristic information and third history information coordinating in-lot characteristic information and entering characteristic information in each time zone by each parking lot. The central processor 5 predicts characteristic information in parking lot and entering characteristic information after a unit time based on first and second history information coinciding with the hourly changes of the detecting results of the device 1 and the processor 4 by each parking lot, takes out a waiting time after a unit time corresponding to the predicting result from third history information and displays it on each guided display panel 2.
