To provide a part replacing timing extending method and a stencil printer and so forth by which the replacing timing for the replaceable part is notified by sensing when the replaceable part (a paper feeding roll, a separating roll, a reflective type photo-sensor, and a thermal head) has exceeded its using limit by use or a performance deterioration with time, and at the same time, the operability and the convenience of a user can be improved by preventing the operation of the device from being stopped by extending the replacing timing of the replaceable part by controlling the operation of a compensating means which compensates the performance deterioration.
A CPU 2 controls a liquid crystal displaying section 49B in such a manner that the replacing timing for the paper feeding roll 111 or the like may be notified when the using quantity being stored in a backup memory 4 has exceeded the using limiting quantity which is set in advance as the using limit for the paper feeding roll 111 or the like. At the same time, the CPU 2 controls a paper feeding pressure variable motor 25 and a separating pressure variable motor 29 so that a paper feeding pressure and a separating pressure may become higher than those before the using limit quantity has been exceeded.
